Here is the launch of my new book Compassionate Presence: The Trinitarian Spirituality of Adrienne von Speyr.

This Wednesday, March 22 at St. Paul Church (190 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY), 7-9pm.

It’s a big event (presentation by me, interview, and book signing) and I think many of our department and St. John’s community would love to be there. This book represents the culmination of several years of my intense research on the significance of Holy Saturday (the descent of Christ to hell) and what that means for humanity in our disconnected, fragmented age today.
